This is an exciting time for Tala Records. We have several projects coming out soon, as well as new horizons for our musical community to reach towards - "Heart to Heart Resuscitation". Tala Records is a homegrown label conceived by Ty Burhoe, focused on unique collaborations that weave together different musical traditions as well as presenting the pure traditional music. Tala Records aspires to bring us "into rhythm" with ourselves and with music from around the world. The word Tala is a Sanskrit term meaning "rhythm". Tala Record's family of diverse, open minded listeners & musicians continues to grow and expand into new territory. "Sound (music) is the force connecting all things ~ it is here, that our hearts can find a sense of ease , passion, illumination & kindness."
